I'm one step from buying this car - should I go for it?
>1.4 - 85hp
>around £500
>1990
>good condition
>very customizable
It'd be my first car
>>16843416
gt or bust
>>16843416
it's a good car at that price
DOET
DOET FGT
>>16843416
geat car, do it fgt
then save 3-5k and get a GTI with some cosmetic shit to repair
>>16843416
do it bruv
also if you're going for one of those black box insurers, book the installation a month after your policy starts so you can have fun with it first
>>16843416
>a reasonable car for first car
what the fuck? you are supposed to post a benz with a billion miles on the clock.
anyway... what is the mileage like? looks good. you seen it in person yet? whats the interior like on that thing
>>16843416
If you are looking for fun go kart experience it's nice, but as a daily it's pretty useless
Go for a Peugeot 406 coupe, its way more comfy for a daily, more power and still better MPG with the 2.0 DOHC 135hp
You can also get them for like 1k, it's worth it
>>16843463
I really want a GTI, it's a project for a couple years away though, on poorboy mode right now
>>16843476
From the quotes I've got fitting a black box takes it down about £300 so I'm just gonna spare it in favour of not having one, there's stacks of great roads around here so I don't want to be stuck with one u kno
>>16843521
104,500 miles but it seems to be looked after
I haven't seen it yet, interior looks good aside from some panels being unstuck in the back
>>16843564
I'm 18 so I'm going for something fun rather than a sensible daily while I still have minimal responsibility
I'm into two stroke bikes and fun cars lmao
Insurance would fuck me on that too :^(

If at some point you find a good 106 GT/GTI/Rally/Sport(all different engines but they start at 100hp) and have the cash, jump on it. They are awesome as well
>tfw french
>205 GTIs are still common here
nowt wrong with a non gti 205, lots of fun out of the box and easy to improve if you know what you're doing.
weak gearboxes though

>106 GT/GTI/Rally/Sport
Also sporty Saxo variants (VTS/VTR) since they're pretty much the same car mechanically.
>>16844113
Don't forget sporty AX variants, which are much cheaper(but not as good)
get a cti, same engine as the gti without the 80s kid tax
>>16843416
My skateboard has more BHP
>>16844216
Your skateboard also probably weighs more and is less of a death trap.
205s are fucking hilarious.
>>16844220
They're great
>>16843416
that's not a twingo.
perfect first car for that price
>>16843416
yeah I'd go for it.
