You just kind of space out and drive possessed. For me my feet and buttocks feel really sensitive on the pedals and seat and my arms just do their thing. If it's a car with chunky bolsters on the sides of the seats and you're chucking it around it feels even better.

If you are the type of person who works out, you'll know what I mean by "the zone".

Have you ever gone skiing? If you sit in the middle of the cart all by yourself while waiting to get dropped off at the top of the hill, you would notice that whenever you move, the cart-lift-thingie moves in harmony with your body. In my experience caymans and post-fix MR2's act alot like this, so cars with pretty much a 50/50 weight distribution.

Combine both concepts into a car. While you're in the zone like when lifting, but going down a twisty road, the car feels like an extension of your body. It acts how you want it to, it shifts and moves around in parallel to what you do. I find that to be the #1 quality in a great car.

I notice myself driving more aggressive in my super sport bike vs my shitbox. I also feel better in the super sport. 0-60 in ~3 seconds is a hell of a feeling.
