What's the rarest car on the planet, right now?
Mine
the only interesting metric is rarest production car, one off cars don't really count as rare in a way that's meaningful.
A stock S13.
Any car made before 1980 that is still dealer serviced and has all the maintenance records.

nightmare mode: bone stock
>>16830201
GT1 Race cars all had a production car run of 25. Makes them all significantly rare.
For instance, a Porsche 911 GT1 just sold for $5.66m, breaking a world record or some shit
It's yours anon, because there's only one in the world just like it
My 100% stock civic

Not as difficult as you think as long as you look beyond CL
>>16830968
I saw a CDM bone-stock ITR at a lapping event last year.
One of the driving instructors there mentioned that it was 100% stock, even had the weird CDM leather shift knob.
>>16831307
this if it's a CRX
>>16831307
Alternatively, a 100% stock CRX
>>16831446
This is what I came here to post
>>16831446
But honestly, the only bone stock CRX worth a shit is the CRX Si-R
>>16830763
Not as rare as you might think. There are plenty about, but nobody is selling them right now.

Eh, my uncle's in the 300SL club of North America. I've gone to their meetings, they aren't that rare for what they are.
>>16831792
That's not a 300sl
>>16830763
There's one near my house. I hate seeing it because it's obviously a shitbox from the 90s.
>>16830201
I'd argue some econobox-equivalent from the 60's that no one really gave a shit about back then that's all original OEM parts and not busted to shit, that comes from a country with limited production to begin with, but not so limited as to make their car market something available only to elites (like Russia and China during the 60's).
So, probably some shit from Mexico or somewhere in South America from the 60's, with all original parts that's been kept in a barn by the one old guy who's managed to survive the half-dozen coups, desaparecedos/cultural cleansings, and nacrogovernment takeovers his country has been through.
One left in the UK.
>>16830763
Not even. They're more common than you think.
>>16831546
>>16830201
a for sale WRX or STI with a reasonable asking price.
When it comes to production cars, isn't the Jaguar XJ220 rare as hell?
>>16832044

>>16830201
My grampa built a electric car from the ground up for some competition and now only half of it is left. So I guess that is the rarest car on the planet
>>16832975
It's as rare as it is fat
Nissan R390 GT1 LM.
Only 1 road legal production example made and it sits in Nissans museum.
The rest were built strictly for racing.
A pontiac sunfire that is rust free

>>16833776

Beautiful
>>16830752
That's not a car, that's an engine on wheels
>>16830752
One-offs are boring, anyone can make one.
>>16830763
There are still quite a few untouched or barely touched automatic NA supra's out there
I still think most Vector cars are really rare and cool. Even the ones of the same model had slight changes for every one produced.
>>16830213
>>16830763
