Hi guys and girls,
which one would you buy?
left: Audi S6 PLUS
right: Audi A6 C6 4.2
Both have the 4.2 litre V8.
Both cars are available starting 12-14k euro. I am from Germany.
I am not sure, whether I should choose the old one, to mess with youngsters who don't know, that this car is actually a sports car, or the new one just for comfort reasons.
The value of the old one is already increasing, because there are just a few left, and the value of the new one is still decreasing. Maybe a good reason to buy the old one?
lol neither

Not sure which 4.2 the new one uses, though if it's the belt-driven one it should be fine. The old one has better rust-proofing though, and less electronics to go wrong (which they probably will).
It'll also be infinitely easier to work on yourself.
On the other hand, it is an old car at this point so parts wil likely break more frequently and need replacing, and obviously it won't have the same level of creature comforts as the new one.
The C6 also looks like it could be a brand new car since they haven't really changed much since then, if normie appeal is something you care about.
Comes down to what you want, really.

The new one handles much better and is overall just a much better car, MTM can even get the same amount of power out of the 4.0 (like 800hp, which is utterly batshit).
I just have the biggest boner for the C6 RS6 though, because V10.
