So my head unit has not AUX port. I bought one of those cigarette charger transmitter things but it sounds staticcy and shitty.

But I don't want to buy a whole new head unit. I mean, first off I don't want a typical rectangular one that you find at walmart. But the ones that have touchscreen and stuff usually look too complicated and messy. Is there maybe a way I can install an AUX port and drill a hole? Yes I know I'm being retarded

how good is the quality on these sorts of things? i have an old 300zx with the aesthetic as fuck digital dash and upgraded radio and dont want to ditch it just for an aux cable but if its going to sound like cig lighter garbage anyway i wont even bother
