FWIW that's a common assembly technique across many manufacturers. First is they design them to go together as cheaply as possible in a manufacturing environment, not come apart. Second, a heater core may go the whole design life of a vehicle without needing replacement so why waste resources putting in easy access?

Nah, if one of your brake lines leak then the pedal goes almost all the way to the floor. Only at the very end of its travel do you get a tiny amount of braking power. Dual circuit brakes actually suck pretty bad when something fails.

the motor had been converted to carb, and previous shop cut the harness and computer out and never installed pilot bushing, super ghetto

i sourced a new motor, same year as the truck...start moving parts over but it doesnt have cam lobe for fuel pump and has tbi intake

would have been a plug and play motor if the previous job wasnt such a nightmare
