The races after this will move back to lapped values around 20 minutes so the server site will report properly. I wasn't aware of this issue until after the race. Points are only rewarded for participation anyway: 1 point per race completed.

The FR2.0 is the most recent open-wheel road-side car added to iR and is now second-highest participation open-wheel series on iR (second to skips), meaning the launch of it has gone better than Kamel and both classic Lotuses.

Bringing in the FR3.5 would mean they could retire the (ancient) Pro Star Mazda and still maintain four levels of modern open-wheel series (skips, then FR2.0, then FR3.5, then indy & f1). I can't say that the FR3.5 would be found to be drivable by people who aren't now driving the DW12/oldLoti, but I think it would be a decent addition.

The FR3.5 is several orders of magnitude faster than the Star Mazda it doesn't fit the iRacing ladder like that.

I'd need to go back but the DP was producing almost 1800 kg of downforce at 270 kph and cornering at speeds faster than the 919. I don't remember the Oreca because I didn't care for driving it much, it felt like it was producing much more grip than it should have been.
