I found two of my wagons down south, and one local.
Prices will vary greatly depending on where you are. Up here deep in the salt belt, anything even remotely decent will usually run you around a $1k. Down south and out west theres a shit load more of them still. Remember that the demo guys scoop up all the cheap ones.

Get an 86+, the SEFI cars are leagues better then the older CFI cars. Way more user friendly and mod friendly.

I personally like the 90/91's the best. The dash is a lot nicer, and the overall quality is a hint better.

Wagon wise I currently have two 91's and an 87.
The first 91 was my daily for nearly 5 years. 275k miles on it, original rearend and engine (AOD was rebuilt once).
Second 91 is my current DD, winter beater, and back up tow rig, I'd drive it cross country right now with no fears.
The 87 is all torn down, that's one big project.

This is true, the later panthers were all pretty shit in the build quality department. It's easy to spot 2011 Vic's. None of the have any front fender molding, they all have black rear fascia's and they all have LX sport wheels. Clearly just using up shit laying around.
