Nice Integra senpai, what year/package?
>>16760368
I use EK5000 for budget dashcam. At least I can use it for things outside my car if needed. Powered by usb from cig port.
Cassette adaptor for music was nice to get, always put for driving
I use a radar detector, works pretty good
>>16761135
can't cops detect those though?
>>16761169
I don't think so but even if they can it's legal to have them.

2016 Dodge Challenger
Escort Max2 HD
Blackvue DR450
My Nexus 6P on a vent phone mount
Radar detector plugged in my center console lighter port. I keep a portable charger in my car for my phone. No need for GPS. Phone does it fine.
>>16761169
It's possible, yes. Some police devices have radar-detector-detectors...Yeah it's a dumb name, but that's what it is.
The diode in the radar detector unit emit a slight signal of their own. Then again, these devices usually cut power when they alert, to try to prevent being detected.
>>16761517
the B20 is a lot of fun.
The low end torque just makes driving the teggy a lot more fun.
I made the mistake a mating a 4.7 itr tranny with it and I completely miss the powerband. Keep the LS tranny and if you ever want to do a track setup, get a GSR tranny. i think I might end up doing a greasy junkyard b20vtec build so i can put my tranny to good use
>>16761578
Can you buy radar detector-detector-detectors?
1980 wagon, radio delete and cigarette lighter delete
at least i have a clock on my dash though
>>16761645
You just made my fucking day, brother. I bought an LS trans with aftermarket LSD and was hoping I didn't screw up.
I keep a power hub with 2 cigarette lighter and 4 USB charging slots. My phone plugs into the aux input on my head unit. And that's all I plug in
Rear view camera normally, phone charger if I ever need to charge it while driving and a charger for a Motorola MTP3000 when I'm out on search & rescue
>>16761229
That makes it hotter desu
>>16761208
Legal in 49 states I believe, Virginia bans them
>>16761557
Same. Detector mounted on passenger visor, charger cable coming out of center console. Phone for gps.
Would like to add a dashcam though.

I use a satnav on long journeys. Otherwise, I have a multi-USB port gadget for charging other gadgets while on the road.
Gonna get a dashcam sometime, mostly so I can post youtube compilations of moron drivers and suicidal pedestrians.
Would have gotten a good clip of the completely unlit cyclist I nearly mowed down this morning because they didn't seem to see or hear me coming despite having my lights on.
I have a cassette aux adaptor because muh Bose TM entertainment system on an 05 .
Just kill me now senpai

where to cop mini wing?
>>16765347
I saw it on /o/ this guy had a story to go along with it. Apparently an asian woman in a racing suit wanted to trade it in for a lexus and he was able to convince her of a low value because he jokingly said that blue is an unlucky color.
>>16765285
Hey keep it simple that stuff works just fine.

That's why I started this thread, but I'm not sure which is right for me, I don't want to spend too much.

>i drive a GTP and I'm not a faggot said no one ever
>>16764195
What's the optimal mounting point for a detector? I have mine right in the center of my windshield.
>>16764195
In my 4th gen I had it mounted off my mirror. Was the best I think in terms of being able to pick up the best. In the c5 I have a weird mirror so I ended up picking up a visor clip. Way cheaper and easier to remove. Before it was tapped into the mirror, now I have the corded, which I like due to it having the mute on the port right by my hand.
Being as your car has a lower center of gravity like mine, I'd say the higher the better.

There's several to choose from on Amazon for <$10.
I spent $150ish on a dash cam for my 2002 C5. 1080 with HD and loop recording. Small price to pay to have my ass covered in case of an accident.
>>16766841
Right in front of you, as close as the centre of your vision as you can get. You don't want to miss an alert while speeding.
>>16767831
>cargo organizer
That's not a peripheral, that's just cargo.
Although that DOES remind me that I need to get around to actually securing the plastic box in my boot.
And, y'know, clearing out all the crap from it so it's actually useful again.
I'm fucking sick of the lack of volume and the way it goes *bonk* when I corner and it doesn't. My car has securement points, I should make use of them.
>>16762015
Yeah, but the cops can detect them with radar detector-detector-detector-detectors sadly. They're not illegal though
I have a dashcam from when I was a learner driver. people do the dumbest shit around learners. overtake on double and single solid lines, overtake when there are cars coming the other way, especially in underpowered crossovers, etc etc. then when they see you have a dashcam they do 5 under the limit to try and repent or something.
I feel like it's kept me safe, so as far as I'm concerned it was a worthwhile investment.

Yah I printed a bunch of magnets for an auto club, but got ripped off with refrigerator tier shit that welded itself to the paint when it got wet or hot or whatever. Basically shit couldn't be outside, so I have like 180 magnets floating around. There are basically a few on every metal surface from the inside of my garage door to my gun safe. The only place they aren't is on any vehicle, ever.
A car charger for my phone with a pass-through for the shitty floorpan lighting that came with the car when I bought it. Impresses younger guys and makes others think better of the plastic, rattling interior.
