I was looking at the skoda fabia monte carlo, pic related, going to take it for a test drive this weekend.
What models compete with this?

Fiat punto (got an abarth, boot is pretty damn big. Have fit wheelchair before)

Seat ibiza
Just have a look around hatchback makers. Skodia's are meant to be reliable but I think they're pretty ugly.

Monte Carlos are definitely cool! Especially the first gens. But really, any of them would be comfortable with decent power.

If you go for a later model Monte, try to find an AeroCoupe with T-Tops. Those are the least rednecky of the 80's ones. They're kinda rare though, so finding one may be a challenge.

Buy a used hatchback with a large enough trunk
