After 800 grit, the yellow completely gone. But frosted over. This is the OH I FUCKED IT UP, WHAT HAVE I DONE PHASE. I was freaking out.

Should have followed up with a light buffing compound afterwards.

I never use sandpaper, just finer and finer compounds on a buffer, takes longer but no scratches to deal with afterwards.
