Help me please /o/. So I'm looking to upgrade my car but I know jack shit about cars, reliability, practicality, etc. I currently have a 2011 Honda CRV. Don't care about make or model, I'd prefer something new or low mileage if used, decent gas mileage, something that won't break or cost me a lot to get fixed. I love how comfy my honda is and I'm considering getting a newer model but I want to be open about other options. I drive almost 2 hours a day so something comfy would be nice. I have a budget of $25000 give or take.

Honda crv are noted for their reliability however newer models will all have the cvt transmission which aren't really known for reliability due to their excessive moving parts.
Otherwise the crv is a great car. Other comparable models are the Toyota rav4, the Nissan rogue, Hyundai sonata, etc
Honda makes a new midsized suv called the hrv, stay away from it it'd awful

Look at the Nissan versa. Hits all the things u mentioned and is 11k brand new (msrp)

Thanks

The versa is shit and not worth considering. Nissan is the ugly stepsister of the 4 "japanese" makes. What's wrong with the crv? 2011 is plenty new. Just change the oil on time and the trans fluid and coolant and it'll be good for a long time.

Just get a newer CRV if you already like what you have.

The new crv is worse than the old one.

Honda's CVT is built in-house and it's pretty damn reliable, my Accord is at 87k miles and my cousin's is around 110k.
Still drives and feels like the day I bought it.
