$3k Civic
>Learn to drive a manual
>Buy a cheap civic, 240, or mustang and learn how to wrench on it
>Lurk /o/ to learn about car culture, but remember this board is filled with autism.

this
minus the 240 cause those have a lot of drift tax and rice tax as well
Cars.com no longer has 240 or Supra as a used search option. Wonder why.

The rundown of /o/:
If it isn't rwd and manual it's automatically trash.
The cheap alternative is to buy My Summer Car and get an idea how engines work while having fun at the same time.
Whatever you get, go buy the Chilton's manual, and don't fucking pester everyone with your thousands of easy ass readable or at least Google-able questions

If you want to learn how engines work start by taking apart your lawnmower it's just like a car engine but smaller and no electronics and if you fuck it up it's at most a few hundred dollars and a trip to home depot

I don't ever post negative things on /o/ and I rarely say what I drive on it.
Please listen closely... Listening to these people will make u retarded and anything u repeat from here will instantly inform those who are knowledgeable about cars around you think that u are an idiot ricer.
Everyone on here is either
>poor as fuck
>don't even have a car and/or license
>ricers
>those morons you see having illegal car meets in random parking lots to show off their pieces of shit
>those who try and street race all the time
Their are very few of us who actually know about cars here.
