I was given a 2014 ford fusion as my first car and I'm tired of having fucking buttons on the side of my stick for sport mode. It's annoying and impractical. Is there any way to get my car altered to have something like pic related or paddle shifters? Inb4 manual master race. I'm not driving stick in socal traffic
your best bet is to just live with it

Just fucking trade it in for something you can deal with.

Theoretically you could rewire the plus and minus buttons to limit switches on paddles or some shit but in reality no, not really. I would just put it in S and not touch the plus/minus, the car overrides your gear choice most of the time anyway.

If your existing transmission model was not already shit than it would never need a sports mode.

I don't blame him, sitting in barely-moving city traffic is a pain in the ass with a manual

In the 2013-2015 Fusion the paddle shifters are standard in the Titanium model, you're stuck with the way as it is.
