Can someone help me understand this. i want to do a oil change on my yamaha mt-07, but i dont know what viscosity oil to use. I've seen people use 20w-50 and 10w-40 on mt-07's but how do i know whats right for me, and how do i read this information.
>>
>>16738769
Those are the oil specs you could use depending on what temperatures you ride in. Viscosity changes based on temperature.
Just put 10W-50 synthetic motorcycle specific oil in it and call it a day.
>>
>>16738270
Second that.
Myeeessss
>>
>>16738782
I live in NZ. temperatures range from like 7degrees c to 28c. i have some 10w-40 in the shed. do you think i could use that?

>>16738335
How tall is the figure in this? Want one for a fuckaround bike but 6'1" master race
>>
>>16738802
That's fine but make sure it's motorcycle specific, car oils have additives that aren't good for a wet clutch.

Speaking of additives, I can't find a 10-40 with that aircooled engine junk.
I know chrome fetishists use 20-50 or such, y'all know if companies do the lighter stuff? Should I go halfsies with the V twin juice and regular rice fuel?

>take off gloves

>take off helmet
>when cold, take off neck warmer
>take off balaclava
>remove ear plugs
And do it all over again afterwards. Takes longer than the actual filling up and paying and holds everyone up. It's difficult to hear people with plugs in but hey, you're not there to chat with people. "Hi, number 4 please. Yes, I'll have the receipt, thanks. Have a nice day."
Not even in Muslim City (Berlin) they care. Helps that I have a clear visor, am a white as snow skinny manlet with glasses and wear full textile gear.

here's 2 on my local craigslist asking way more than they should for these bikes that don't run or look like garbage.

I went to look at a bike when I was still looking to buy one that turned out to be in way worse condition than the owner let on to believe and he told me just to mad max it because it was the same model as the one in the film. Asked 2k and the bike was a 20 year old cbr and didn't run

Type mad max into your craigslist and see what comes up.

Technically they are right.

If I ride on the highway, a pedestrian crosses and I hit them, they aren't at fault. My insurance will have to pay.

Cyclists the same. I've heard about people throwing themselves in front of a car, so they can get a new bike for free.

Idk, maybe 3.5 lbs.

Feels light enough. It's my first helmet though so couldn't compare it to anything.

When it's not frigid, I can ride with the sun visor down but the shield up and it feels really airy. When it's cold, all the vents are active so you can shut out basically all the wind.

I'd not worry about a helmet being made in China so long as the manufacturer is reputable.

>>16739683
>Technically they are right.

Something I can realistically do?
>>16739671
You're fucking stupid, m8. I've lived with myself for 28 years, do you think I don't perfectly know myself and my body by now? What irritates the scalp is NOT wearing the helmet, it's taking it off, because of how narrow it is and the natural direction of the hair. If I don't use the helmet, even if the scalp is irritated, the dead skin (dandruff) doesn't come off the scalp and if I don't use the helmet for a prolonged period of time the scalp stops being that irritated.

>visit a dermatologist, retard

I like my horizontal gps in my car but on the bike, vertical looks better and is easier to use for some reason.
>>
>>16739891
Vertical, because then you see further ahead
>>
>>16739898
Probably vertical so it doesn't get wierd in menus and stuff.
Should get an s7 and a normal mount instead tho ;)
>>
>>16739891
I find horizontally allows you to be more prepared for being in the correct lane when navigating in the city since it sometimes you can look two turns ahead.

I lived

two gas stations had broken tire pressure machines

gear shift rod unscrewed shortly after hooning at some kids at a bus stop, I stopped pretty much inside an intersection, pulled out the leatherman and fixed it (forgot to film it all with gopro like a real youtube attention whore)

I'll take that as a sign from god not to hoon, otherwise excellent ride, I didn't do anything fancy for the first ride but very much enjoyed myself.
>>
>>16739906
How? You travel towards the top of the screen, not the left or right border, if you have more screen space you can see more map.
Or?
>>16739929
>>16739926
Yeah, that's what I've been thinking.
>>16739935
I guess this is also true.
>>16739931
Only retards waste their money on that shit. I got a Zenfone 2 a couple of years ago for €250 and it's perfect.

Depends on the make, really, I have a size 11 hand and I've had to buy up to 2XL occasionally.

I have answered the same questions many times, i will name fag normally once i have a bike

decided to let fate take me and just explore supercheap bikes

Scooters are so fucking cheap here, much cheaper than full bikes. very tempted to spend 6 months riding a scooter and then moving on to a manual bike

it's not really what im after, but it sure is beautiful. 80's designs just really look cool to me. it's like people had all these new things to build with and it wasn't all standardised like it is now
>>
>>16739973
Dainese, should be a pretty fit size.
I wear a size L with their gloves and ordered a size 10 from the uk, seller said it's equivalent but I wasn't 100% sure.
>>
>>16740032
I think there's more classes of bike to choose from now.

Before people would just buy a standard and ride it for every purpose.

Now you'll have people with 3 bikes in their garage for use depending on their mood.
>>
>>16740039
I'm still not 100% sure about getting either a CBR type bike or a CB type bike myself

Get the cbr type. 125cc sportbikes are more highway capable thanks to the aero. Korea probably has some cool trips for you to take

Enjoy. Always thought the shiver was an underrated package.

Steel brake lines, brembos, tc, rbw, power modes

Great value if your bike doesn't have little quality problems

>>

The problems are pretty much a given
I've just had to deal with the biggest one, the engine cannibalizing its sensors
IMO it's a better built SV, which is the bike i'd have gotten otherwise

Honda or Yamaha need to buy aprilia.

Their engineering + jap quality would be delish.

Sorta like the 599

Iunno
A bigger budget is all they need
Wrenching on it has made me appreciate how much (dare i say it) love went into making this thing

Like, there's this little drain hole in the tank cap to prevent it getting flooded or rusting
All the rubber grommets are canted slightly to the left so that when you tighten them they align correctly
The winglets on the sides actually direct air into the airbox, while making moisture condense and drip away

Lots of little autistical details that make it so wierd

What am I supposed to do about boots being loose around my ankles?

I have very small ankles but big feet, so I have to make do with laced up ankle boots.

would these work for me?
>>
>>16740124
Yeah, I just mean Jap fabrication and quality control.

Blueprints should be mailed from Italy
>>
>>16740139
go to shop and find boots that fit/are adjustable there.

where thick socks

etc.
>>
>>16740018
2007 AND onwards. However beware that 2006MY bikes could still have been registered and sold in 2007, so don't trust the seller and instead check each 2007 bike yourself.
>>
>>16740184
>wear thick socks in summer
>literally feet swimming in sweat
>get trenchfoot
>die

And I have been to many shops and tried the boots, they are all really loose around my ankle.

Electronics should be handled offshore
R/n it has a ducati branded regulator, ktm switchgear, caponord's ECU/frame/swingarm
Also comes factory severely overgeared, with 2 overdrive gears
The engine is sex tho

What is it with Italians and electronics?

An Italian even designed the new Africa Twin but ask them to program an ecu and it's like they forget which way is up.
