First off, the FD isn't even close to 2k. Try 14k nowadays. The FC goes around 5k for NA. Really, if you want to be a rotard that bad your only choice is a FB, which makes about 50 horsepower because of its already anemic engine coupled with its weight.

None of those are good cars for drifitng. The Miata's wheelbase is too short and the LS400 is a pigfat nomauel GT. The SW20, being a midship and a difficult one to drive at that, does not respond well to drifitng; you'd be better off holding the line. If you try to drift one you're practically begging to die of snap oversteer.


At this price point, your choices will be very limited and will probably be unreliable. A beat-up, abused, 15-owner 240SX is pretty much your only good choice.

Volvo 740 turbo or even 240 turbo. You can find them pretty cheap in seattle, even cheaper if you're willing to go to portland to grab one. I got mine for 600 bucks and put probably around 500 more into it to make it really hoonable. Also, there's always the option to swap a v8 in. Theres some tripfago whos currently doing that somewere on here.
