It's a good car.
Only real issue is the precat. Research it, there's ways to know wether it has allready fucked the engine or not. This applies to all zzw30's.
I am looking to get a w30 as well but I'm going for post facelift model since it has a 6speed.
If you don't plan to engine swap it or don't need to lug around a lot of cargo get it.
It's a really goddamn good car.

I hope you realize that with 138 hp you will be slower than most cars made in the last 5 years.

In 2001, it was quick but you'd loose to a modern "sport" model econobox now.

Don't trade. That mr2 is 16-17 years old and cars of that age always come with problems that are expensive to fix.
