What might be the cause that camshaft/crankshaft sensors are out of sync in LS3 Chevrolet engine?

May the crankshaft be the culprit as it appears to be a little bit skewed.

P0010?

Timing chain wear.

Keyway on crank/cam or sprocket pounded out.

Time for teardown and inspection

Too be honest I don't know.
My friend builds cars and asked if I can google/ use various forums in order to figure out the cause.
He is polish and don't know English reason he can't do it himself.

Can you give me a couple of hints why there is no sync? I would appreciate any help.

Camshaft position sensor might be fukt. He needs to check for codes. There should be a CEL.

Thank you very much.
Can Torque Pro.app be handy for trouble shooting?
>>

It can give you a code if there is one. Just google the code and there will be plenty of info for you. If it is a camshaft position sensor it is a cheap and easy fix. Goodluck.
