This is /o/. We are are all here for the same reason. We love cars. Let's show some love to the oft under appreciated daily beaters. I'll start. 4.0 5SP that I picked up for $500 couple years ago. She turned 21 this year.

It looks good anon. How's the interior?
>>16734802
It's almost perfect. Headliner isn't sagging anywhere. None of the leather seats are cracked. Only cosmetic damage to the car at all is a slight crack in the fender and tape on the passenger mirror.
As for the reliability problem though, I'm likely taking it into a shop this week. I don't have the time to repair it myself with my current job.
>>16734828
What wrong with it? If I were to hazard a guess (from my experience) transmission ?
>>16734858
Water pump needs replaced pretty bad, as do the brakes. There is a rattle when you first enter fourth gear in overdrive, but I suspect it to be a misfire rather than an actual issue with the transmission.
>>16734865
Ah. Best of luck with that
Take a guess niggers

>>16734968
Nothing wrong with auto unless you have a 3-speed.
>>16734978
it's 4 speed.
I just feel like there isn't much point in investing in performance parts for it. Just kind of restoring it a little right now. I need a project car I guess.
>$500 after auction fees
>only minor problems over the last year
>>16735021
I mean, if you really care that much just do a tranny swap.
1500 for the blue, 2k for the red
>>16734761
1200 bux. I still miss it.
Paid 300 for it with a broken turbo.
Put bigger turbo on, injectors, tune, etc.
Been driving it for two years now. Probably has 220 hp and 240 lbft.
>>16735049
Why'd you sell it?
>>16735058
>9mpg
This was when gas was like 4.50 a gallon in Commiefornia.
Bought it for $800.
Replaced the sunroof, front rotors, spark plugs, all 4 struts, radiator and hoses.
I did an oil change and shit too.
Its a nice little car.

where do you guys find these beautifully inexpensive shitboxes? My local craigslist has almost nothing comfy for that cheap, intact or otherwise.
>>16735177
You have to be patient and negotiate properly. My Cadillac was originally listed at 1800, but I ended up wearing him down to a grand. Good thing too, since the fucker needs lots of work.
>>16735177
Got mine at an auction
>$1750
>under $2000
fuck that, mine was $2500, still a better deal than the shitters itt

Bitchin subs in the back, brah. Shit is so cash! No homo.
Had to replace the starter solenoid today
>>16734761
Dude buy some sandpaper and polish and make that car look brand new again
It's such a shame having a ruined paint
>>16735316
Those late 80s - early 90s grill covers are so adorable.
>saved from the demo, had a bad trans
>swapped in a HO and complete overkill built WR-AOD I had laying around along with a limited slip and 3.55's

>haven't touched a thing on it in 2 years
It owes me nothing.
