Are the transmissions on these really as bad as the horror stories say? I've got about $14k total to spend on a daily driver and these are cheap for the mileage (can get one with 28k miles for $11500 list price), plus I love the interior.
Just buy a manual one and enjoy the interior without that shit DCT blowing up on you.
and yes, they are shit in the 2014 and 15s

I'm too lazy to work a manual, did they fix them on the 16s?

No
I'm in a 1998 Camry right now
>>16734124
The camry is perfectly adequate. Keep driving it and fix it if necessary. It's better built than any american car.

>It's better built than any american car.
>tfw camry is american built

fine, engineered better, designed better, take your pick.
The main problem is the output shaft seal leaks then contaminates the clutch disc. Can't tell you how many of those I've done on Fiesta's and Focuii. Even when they are fine though, they still shift like shit and shudder all the time. Just get one with the stick.

But i dont want to learn manual
>>16734363
Learn it anyway. Stop being a lazy faggot.
>>16734363
Well, just keep your buss pass and youll be ok.
>>16734033
Automatic transmissions have always been unreliable, awful, and expensive.
Just buy a manual like they want you to.
>>16734206
the focus wasnt engineered by americans either

US-designed for the US market.
Ford Europe makes good cars. Ford US doesn't, because Ameritards wouldn't know a good car if it ran them over.
