it wasn't quite blue, it wasn't quite grey, it was somewhere in between. on cloudly overcast days it was bright blue. on sunny days, it was a nice silver color.

i always liked this color personally.

This is called Steel grey from Saab. It only came from 2003 till 2008 and it was the reason i almost didnt buy my car a few years ago. I thought it was a bit boring, bland, uninteresting when i could have waited for some funky electric blues or something more fun.


Boy am i happy now. It has grown on me like you wouldnt believe. I have friends with cars that are many different shades of grey and this is pretty unique in that under sunlight it looks almost some kinda elegant beige or even cappucino, not grey at all. And it has the incredible benefit of being almost the same color as dirt so no matter how dirty it is, take 3 steps back and it looks squeaky clean under all circumstances. Plus it's not flashy at all and it has a fancy look to it in person, like a discreet piece of jewellry. Pictures dont do it justice at all, it's really soft and warm in person, especially if its very sunny outside.
