/o/, some dick did a u-turn in front of my WRX and might have totalled it. I'm sad but I might have to move on quick. Assuming I have ~$7000 to $9000 to play with after I get my blood money from the guy who did a u-turn in front of me's insurance company, and assuming I live in the northeast where I have to expect 22-inch snowpocalypses in April, what shitbox and fun project/weekend cars would compliment each other best?

Ideally I'm thinking a Civic hatch, pre-98 Accord, 2.5 RS or an Outback for the DD, and something like a Foxbody, Miata, MR2, RX-7/8, or 3-series for the weekend car. Anything wonderful combination I'm missing? (Pretty bummed since I was originally just gonna save up for the latter, but oh well.)
