Is a V8 with a dead cylinder driveable? Pretty sure it's either Spark plug or coil pack. I unplugged the fuel injector and the coil pack to get home. I need to drive approximately 120 miles before the weekend when I can fix it

you'd be fine with 3 dead cylenders

Just be sure you remove the hood before starting your journey.

W-what meme is this, I don't watch roadkill
I would think it'd be fine since I turned off the fuel and the spark to the cylinder....

It'll run but misfire and get shitty mileage. Change the plug at least you cheap fuck their like $2 for domestic cars, shitty copper will do. At least replace that first, or even try one of those non fouling plugs (never used them myself)

>that lack of electrode
What the fuck did you do nigger?

If he removes disconnects the fuel injector will he still get worse fuel economy. It will run uneven, but if their is no fuel going in that cylinder, will the unbalance cause worse fuel economy?

Iirc he did a landspeed run at Bonneville with several dead cylinders.

It won't be smooth and it'll burn a shit load of oil but yes.
Think my 6 cylinder has a dead'un

>shitty copper
>actually the best conductor of all spark plug electrode materials
the other ones are "better" because they last longer
and that's what casuals care about

>owns a V8
>uses his dads tools
get a mechanics tool set from Horror freight u cheap fuck
keep it in the trunk

A modern car in closed loop will read the oxygen from the disabled cylinder and increase all the other cylinders injector duty cycles. It will run rich as shit on those cylinders and have shitty milage.
