An Alfa Romeo Z33 Tempo Libero/Free Time concept...
From a time when Alfa Romeo was a complete joke, their cars were just rebadged crap, considering this is looks like a Panda with extra doors.
Remember the Arna? The car that should have Japanese precision engineering and reliablility with beautiful Italian body style and interior comfort but what we got instead? A Nissan Cherry with Alfasud electrics. What utter balls...

This was quite possibly the stupidest collaboration in automotive history.

>their cars were just rebadged crap,
What is the 33 a rebadge of? (retard)

What about the time British Leyland made a car with ital design and didn't let the Italians beautify it?
>>16694565
>tfw alfa re-skinned a viper ACR-X and sold it for 2-3 times its original price
I wonder how much people would pay for Camaros if they had BMW badges and skin.

At least British Leyland made decent looking cars on their own, Nissans in the 80s generally looked terrible or at least incredibly bland.

Yes, the Morris Ital
ItalDesign did design the Morris Ital but British Leyland supervised it so the damn thing looked so boring. Although, it is named in their honour Ital wanted nothing of it, even to the point where their book commemorating 50 years of beauty, the Ital is nowhere to be seen.

Mercedes also used the viper a basis for the SLS AMG after the Diamler-Chrysler split.

>British Leyland
>Decent looking
They did kinda make alright, average looking cars. The build quality was truly awful though
>>16694623
Actually, Leyland got Ital to do the layout or some shit, in house stylists did the styling
>>16694633
Yeah, build quality was horrendous. Lucas Electrics may be the actual worst thing to happen to the British auto industry at least.
>>16694631
no they didn't. the viper is steel, the SLS is aluminum with a transaxle
>>16694631
Common misconception. They used Viper body panels to mask the SLS prototype.

Most of those decent looking cars were carried over from pre-Leyland (Triumph Spitfire, MGB, TR-series up to the 6, etc ). The only good looking car they designed was the Stag, and that was Italian styling
