Let's say you have a dirt bike on a truck, on a trailer. In my head, the trailer will shake and wobble, the truck will sway and absorb the lesser bumps, and the bike with gently move and be most comfy.

Am I wrong or can suspension stack up? I know big rigs have a completely separate cabin, and they're pretty rough.

Let's say you sat on the red dirt bike. Would it be super cloud comfy or am I over thinking all this

Not really comfy, since it's so high up, the suspension actually makes it worse.

Don't talk to me or my son ever again.

It works in the opposite my friend. You are amplifying the bumps. At least that's happens to cars on the back of my tow truck

If each suspension system has the proper spring rate and damping for the load, then yes it will be super comfy.

However it's likely that none of those will be anywhere near capacity, making the spring rate too stiff and trailers often have no damping.

>anywhere near capacity,
especially if the ute has single leaf springs
some have a dual system that changes the total spring rate depending on travel

>how fucking high are you

He was sitting on the dirt bike post speed bump.

Want kind of truck is that, OP?
>>
the number of coils is irrelevant, more coils doesn't necessarily makes it more comfy, as this guy said >>16668834

In my Pajero the driver's seat is mounted on a spring/shock absorber assembly, it makes a very noticeable difference when I turn the stiffness all the way up - when it's set to 'soft', it does a good job of masking the harsh ride of the car.

So, the theory is sound, but as a few anons have said, you need to have the right spring rates and shit to make it actually comfortable.

Just make sure you do the maths and make sure you get the harmonics juuuuuust wrong enough that you can launch the bike to the fucking moon.
