I drove this over the weekend. Does anybody else go on random

Why would you drive on only the freeway when you are surrounded by great roads and beautiful scenery in every direction?

i live next to the great lakes with flat flat flat plains everywhere and the occasional hills

i did a road trip down towards Pennsylvania once, just hills but there were some nice curvy roads. Rural areas but still populated though so can't really do anything naughty (fucking scary at night though, no lights in most places)

northern wisconsin/UP has some decent roads (the ones that aren't plagued with potholes)

Sometimes I'll do a 500km jaunt just to go out to the mountains and cook some bacon over a fire.

Op, next time you go for a drive, go through redwood road to Pinehurst road from Oakland/Berkeley to moraga. It's legit a killer drive and some excellent Forest

Yes sightseeing is a perfectly acceptable reason to come over just have a good idea of where you might go, you don't even need to go there but it might help if you are even asked.

didnt drive on the freeway all the way. once i was in richmond i drove to san leandro through the town. i left stockton at 9 pm so there wasn't much traffic once i was in the bay

This is SE MI, wish there were more fun roads in the area(I'm sure there are). Definitely wanna make a trip to Denver when I have the time.

Gotta remember to stop at Jasmin's Buffet at Halcyon and Floresta in san Leandro. I lived in the area and would get blazed and drive down there and eat in the parking lot. While seagulls screeched at me.
