I have a 2001 Camaro with 3.8l v6, does anyone know of a solid line on a harmonic balancer? I called Advance, AutoZone, NAPA, USA Speed world, AND the Chevy dealership, no listings and the parts discontinued. Is there a solid aftermarket option? Fuck I'll take an underdrive pulley if it's under $300.

I'm pretty sure you can use one from a grandprix, I think most l36 parts are the same.

For the V8, Yes.

I searched the GM part number the Chevy dealer gave me, but nothing, and nothing under their listed items besides crank pulley covers.

Maybe, I found some local salvage yards with ones for sale for $40-50, but I was hoping for a new one.

Aftermarket is average for 3.8. Used parts are easy to find. The big benefit is that the 3.8 is very reliable. If you replace the intake manifold gasket and coolant elbows in the serpentine belt tensioner it will last forever.

I have the GU6 code which means I have factory 3.42 open differential, I deliver pizza in it, I've had it since 108k and I'll roll over 150k today after I install a harmonic balancer. I ended up just going to a parts lot and paying $50 for a used one off a firebird. I've never done anything to the engine except change the oil and seafoam it.

Anyone know where I can get a high quality heater core for a third gen? I can't find a brass OEM/ACDelco brand one for sale anywhere, just meh tier aftermarket aluminum ones. I don't want to have to replace it again since it's a major bitch to change it.

There's no point in owning one of these without a V8, OP.
