All traces of the actual OP copypasta are missing edition
>Post your sheißekarton
>Tell us about how your car is "the last good BMW"
>Share hypotheses about what that stick on the left of the steering wheel does
>Ask BMW-related questions, no matter how stupid they are
>Receive stupid answers to your BMW-related questions
>"X isn't a -real- BMW!"
>Do not respond to attention-whoring tripfags/namefags

I fell for the meme. It's a good meme
>>
Gonna be buying a 2006 525xi on Wednesday. Pretty excited, its a pretty ass car. Are e60s decently reliable? I've done plenty of homework but with 91k miles, I'm sure I'll be doing some key maintenance soon on it.
>>
>>16659755
If you're going to buy an e60 525, at least get a rwd one.
>>
>>16659755
they can get expensive to upkeep if shit goes bad but nothing special about them maintenance wise, the typical bmw issues
my e60 525d is at 305k miles, started leaking oil from the valve cover gasket recently, will be a $100 fix, nothing major

Congratulations on your new whip, BMW aint no meme though, BMW is the real deal
>>
>>16659994
I'll concede there's some truth the to the meme; it's a very hit or miss the brand. They've made some fantastic cars such as the E46 M3, M240i, M2, my pictured E92 335i etc. but there's also some that are lagging behind its competition (F30 in general) then others (the X line) that are just awful all around while costing more than its competition.

Of course people only understand black and white thinking so they see a BMW and think "hurr badgewhore shit cars" or "omg BMWs r all so gud"
>>
>>16660033
Also I say this with BMW as one of my favorite brands. I can't honestly look at an [obviously leased] base model F30 and think "That guy knows about cars and is an informed consumer!"
>>
Shit man coolant light is on today, and i opened cap it's on minimum level. Refill check oil cap still normal color no leak at all no dripping from below car (not doing pressure leak test yet) I forgot the last time i checking up radiator maybe like 3-4 years ago i opened the radiator cap. Question Is water/coolant supposed to be gone ? (If it water mixed ?)

God Damn I love being Alpine White
>>
>>16660077
It's one of the few cars I like in white, shame I'm hyper-paranoid about it yellowing.
>>
>>16660052
if it's leaking rapidly that is not normal
>>
>>16659801
I'm getting the AWD cause I'm not trying to drift everywhere and I live where it snows quite heavily so it helps in those situations. Just want a decently luxury DD that catchs some attention.
>>
>>16660081
That's a silly thing to worry about. I had a 335is in AW for over a year that never showed a hint of yellowing. Just take care of the clear coat.

Speaking of which my M3 needs an exterior detailing badly. Does /bmwg/ have detailing products they prefer?
>>
>>16660110
>for over a year
Not really a particularly long timeframe if we're being reasonable. Mine is 4 years old and I plan on keeping it for about 5~

Agree. Would have loved to have kept it longer but our time was tragically cut short. Hug your babies tight.

Also, it was a 2013 that had several years of desert sun on it before I purchased it and left it out in more sun. Still never saw any yellowing on it or even AW e30s around here.

Karton means cardboard box.
Scheißeschachtel was already pretty accurate for shitbox.

Also I can drive the BMW 7ner E65 with the 3,6l petrol engine for a while now.
He is searching a new buyer for it. I could get for 25-7k€ 50k km down car is basically new.
But my fears are the high taxes and insurance will rape me. Would it be worth /o/?
I would be switching from a A4B6 2l to the BMW as DD.

It actually looks like your car has done an overlap crash test
