i owned a B6 S4 and it was okay. pretty bouncy ride and felt awkward on rough roads at slow speeds because of how far to the front the motor is.
Didn't really enjoy quattro too much because it doesn't snow here.
and of course, my particular S4 had a bunch of electrical gremlins. Nothing too big, just mainly problems with the headlights/taillights.

I deffinately loved how quietly it surged though.
