Corolla
>younger than 2000
is that supposed to mean pre-2000 or after 2000 because cinquecento is clearly pre-2000
>>16654182
post 2000
I like the cinque, it gives me hard ons I cannot explain. I might have been hypnotized to like it cuz I dont understand why I like it so much.
But I need newer and safer cars, preferably hot hatches.
But no hondas pls.
>>16654162
I'd suggest a Jetta TDI but the shifter has an unenjoyable, excessively long throw.

1.6 supercharged at 180 to 210hp from the factory
easily and cheaply boosted to 240hp with a smaller supercharger pulley
handles like a go-kart
underappreciated so their value is still reasonable

They made 306s from 1994-2003.
Then there's the Clio 172, Civic EK, Prelude, Primera P11, Ford Puma....

OP here, thanks for your help, I've been looking into Mini;s they are good cars.
Anyone know more about them? What to look into?
>>16659034
do not
>>16654179
>>16654162
OP he's not kidding. Especially the 7th gen Corollas handle phenomenally and are a lot of fun to drive.
My first car was a 1993 Corolla with the 1.8L. Sadly an automatic but it was a blast. Didn't realise just how great of a car it was till I drove other Corollas, Civics, and cars in general.
>>16654189
These just break constantly.
>>16654190
Jetta GLI? The TDI is a slow POS only good if you want crazy gas mileage. Or just get a GTI like >>16657649 said.
>>16657897
Cobalt is one of the best handling fwd cars around.
>>16659034
Mini is literally one of the most unreliable brands. I'll admit, they're neat cars, especially the turbo and supercharged ones.
But they break so often and they aren't cheap to repair. You'll honestly want to kill yourself. If you want a Mini get a real Mini.
4th gen Altima coupe 3.5L V6
>>16657649
God the OEM MK5 wheels are so ugly.
>>16657904
>younger than 2000
>>16654187
Why newer?
Safety isn't a huge deal as long as you aren't buying an AW11 or Miata.
Your best safety device is your own head. Constantly scan for idiot drivers and do preventative things that make you less likely to be hit. That doesn't mean you can't drive fast, just drive smart.
