so, i'm buying a tandem axle rear end truck and i wanna suspension lift it because mud and cool and 'murica. it's a really uncommon truck. how would one suspension lift a truck that has almost no aftermarket parts available? more leaf springs?
>pic only sort of related.
>international harvester, not ford.
Big boy airbags. weld brackets in locations that allow for big lift.
Blocks in the leaf springs

but if i puncture one, then im out like a fuck ton of money.

hmmm, that would probably work. but it doesn't really add to the suspension. might as well be a body lift at that point.

I've installed a lot of kits and this is one type of failure I've never seen nor even heard of.

i take that back, they're not as expensive as i thought. i used to work for a diesel shop so whenever we did an airbag, it always costed them like nearly 1000 bucks. i guess we just overcharged.

ok, so if this is the case and i put airbags in. i don't know much about integral compressors, because it has hydro brakes. how would i mount one?

That's why I have a job. Because I figure it out. So... Figure it out. Every single vehicle is different with a different set of problems.

Simple. Put air brakes on it and mechanical compressor so u dont die.

Sorry about your dick

ebin

do you know how much that would cost? a lot. the answer is a lot. i can add air bags to it for like 300 bucks an axle. if i put airbrakes on it, it would cost like 2,000 an axle. unless i robbed a system off an old semi truck or something, but even then, that would be expensive.

me too. but, you know. motion of the ocean not size of the ship. or so i tell myself.
