If they'd build a halfway decent automobile they'd be praised. Unfortunately the build quality isn't there. A great drivetrain while everything else fails doesn't make for a great car.

Friend of mine bought a 14' ss2. Wouldn't recommend it myself. He's already had warranty work done for a faulty fuel pump and the fancy HUD failed as well.

I have a 2012 SS.
The sun visors are stupid, they don't block out anything and make driving at certain times of the day terrible. Other than that can't think of anything I would find particularly worth mentioning.

You notice how impractical the car is compared to others after a while but other than that its a great fun car. Visibility isn't really an issue though.

For the price, go grab an LS1 cat-fish. Aftermarket parts support is strong, and junkyards are filled with wrecks-a-plenty to pull parts from.
