I narrowed my first car down to either a peugeot 106 or 205 1.1, which of the 2 would be a better choice fun, performance, comfort, practicability wise?
keep in mind this is in britbongland so there is no hope for a miata or anything above a 1.2
Honda Civic

lowest displacement civics that are easily available are a 1.3 and insurance is fucking crazy here so unfortunately not.
Nissan micra

oh come on now you're not even trying :<
a micra wouldn't handle half as well as a 106.

Are you fucking serious? Im 18, drive a 2 litre turbo and my insurance is not bad. 60hp is not even safe for highway driving.

I have no driving history and somewhat limited income. I'd be looking at 1.8-2k for a 1.1 (group 7 insurance) car.
Give me $150 for the 205 GTI in my backyard.
Figure out how to get it from Ausland to Bongistan yourself.
and also find out why it won't crank

You can easily get the 1.4 Sport for 1.5k or even a bit less. At least that has 75hp which is decent and comes with the GTI body. They are fun little cars.

oh it's not the price of the car, it's just the insurance that comes with it.
1.4 is group 11 and a 1.1 is group 7. I would if I could believe me bois.
any other fun to drive (very) low displacement superminis?
also phase 1 106's are superior in aesthetics :^)

Well, if you can't get anything more powerful than that then 106/Saxo is pretty much the best option regarding fun. Really good handling, lots of aftermarket and pretty cheap to run/reliable. Phase 1 looks much better but phase 2 comes much more equipped.

thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
