Diagram for series wired 6V flooded lead acid golf cart battery setup for van living.
Are there any problems here? Should I make any alterations? Also do I need fuses in these lines?

Are you from the 70's?

Don't you know wiring runs negative to positive in australia?

>lead acid
>in a van
First of all, your gonna die. Second, you cant do shit with a golf cart battery m8. Third, you should always put fuses in.

Fuse on the positive car batter to solenoid terminal line and a fuse on the positive solenoid to house battery line?
Also care to explain why a battery such as this

is dangerous to have? They will of course be very secure in the vehicle, vented, and properly maintained. The vehicle itself already has a large vent fan installed on top as well.

You will be fine. Lead acid can release gases but if you are well vented then you should be ok. I've never seen a deep cycle 6v with that much AH.

Why are you so obsessed with living in a fucking van? You will freeze in winter, and have your shit stolen.

I lived out of my car for a year and was comfy as fuck the whole time. If OP is even halfway stealthy no one will bother him.

Just get a deep cycle car battery
Do I need to swap my house battery ground to the first deep cycle battery since that's the battery with the positive connection to the car starter battery?

What are you doing for a ground? Don't bother using your vehicles chassis as the primary starting battery uses that as the ground.
You need a fuse on each end of the positive wire as close to the source as possible.
What the fuck are you using two golf cart batteries for? Why do you have your ground on your primary aux battery running to the positive post to the secondary aux?
0 gauge wire from primary battery to the aux batteries. Yes, you have to run one from the negative on the primary as well. Being cheap won't give you a halfway decent charge. From there you can probably get away with 4-6awg wire as you're only going a few feet.
Alternators aren't meant to completely recharge aux batteries. Either buy a duralast alternator for lifetime free replacements or setup a dual alternator system.

Look into the OP. Believe he has the equation for gauge necessary for the desire length being used.
