why doesn't Yamaha make their own cars instead of just making

Don't have the infrastructure + they're already so well in just about everything else, so why would they?

none of the motorcycle manufacturers are really cut out for car manufacturing. honda and bmw can do it but that is simply because they are such a large brand and actually started out as motorcycle manufacturers before switching to cars whereas every other manufacturer (yamaha, yamazaki, suzuki) started out as lawn mower/leaf blower/hedge trimmer/banjo saw engine manufaturers

Yamaha started out a piano and reed organ manufacturer. The logo is three tuning forks.

Depends on how you look at it really.

It'd be cool to see them do a car. Their concept car in the early 90s was a 3.5L V12 and the race version was revving past 13,000rpm from memory.

Their first motorcycle was a copy of a DKW RT125 that did incredibly well and obviously they have a pretty good reputation engine wise.

On the flip if it was worth doing they probably would've done it by now.
