i know its not that fast but only other cars i had was my dads mountaineer and then a ford taurus. this thing beats them by far it's not fast but it feels like it has really good acceleration.
have fun spending at least half of what you paid for it in repairs over the next 2 years.

what is the car known to breakdown a lot?
this car has low mileage apparently the guy that traded it said his wife died and it was hers. i mean shit i drove it all day, including driving the hell out of it just a minute ago, it runs nice. and 'no' i won't be driving like a maniac floor ot hte peddle all the time i was just testing it out.
GM's a shit

join the club, will wreck most civics (not Si) and corollas with all that low end torque
>>16611118
that's being optimistic
>>16611130
once it hits 100k everything's gonna shit itself, mine's at 112k and the car doesn't run like it used to
>>16611547
why do you think that is? right now at 57k it runs nice.
even if i maintain it with regular oil, etc, it'll still shit out?
>>16611038
What engine?
I might be able to tell you what's going to break first.
>>16611692
3800 V6.
the friend of my dads seen the engine and said 'thats a good engine. if it's maintained you can get into 300k with it' hopefully by then the car is long paid off and i'm on to something better. the idea is to pay it off within a year get another few years out of it and then trade it in for something way nice.

It's a heavy iron boat anchor.
That being said, it'll probably last the life of the car as long as you don't decide to turbo it without prerequisite mods.
I'd worry about the transmission slipping. They're notoriously flimsy, though with the N/A 3800 it's probably not an issue.

i did. i pulled this up before buying it i mean i was needing a car, this one was nice and clean looking with low mileage. it just seemed like ultimately my best option.

Man there's a an 08 wrx at the stealership in town for 20,000 dollars.
>>16611656
Because it was built by GM
The orange coolant the vehicle uses eats gaskets
Coolant randomly disappears (doesn't leak on the ground)
Car starts when it wants to
When car starts, rough idle and white smoke everywhere
Random hesitation
These engines just weren't built right, but hey you still got like another 40k miles before that happens
