I drove away from a pump with it in once. I'd been driving for six hours, started pumping it, left my sister in the car to go buy food from the gas station, came back, and drove off. Detached the pump at the hose and this old black dude came out like he'd seen it a thousand times and I got away without any damage to the rental. Now I think a little more.

Yellow lights proportionately to the speed limit. In a 45 mph zone, yellow lights will stay for 4.5 seconds. In a 35 mph zone, 3.5 seconds. Whether to go or stop is up to the driver's judgement call. Red light cameras will fine you if you pass the line after the light turns red. If you are in the intersection when the light is yellow, you are fine. If you are in the intersection when the light is red, you're not.
