In the video where they talk about testing the other electric cars as well, They mention that the problem was that the airbag had too much leeway allowing a hard hit to the airbag and that since the testing, Tesla will be putting in new seatbelts (I won't be surprised if Elon Musk calls for a recall).

Then only the P100D got an "acceptable" rating on the roof crush test because the bigger battery added to the cars weight.

So don't be too worried, They'll probably get top safety pick for the lesser models in the very near future.
