I just bought a slash 2WD. I've done a spool diff, LCG chassis, 50wt shock oil and losi springs, tires, RPM bumpers

Slash 2wd brushless and ECX Boost Buggy with a brushless swap and castle ESC

I had some 1/18th scale cars, but I've not really played with them much in the last few years. the Micro RS4/M18 racers basically all left for bigger and better things, or went to "drifting" with hard plastic tires. Ive wanted larger cars but space tends to be a premium, and the bigger cars are boring unless they are faster or more realistic.

I've taught about one of those modern Tamiya Bruiser style trucks from RC4wd, but they are like 350USD for the kit alone, no electronics, locked diffs, friction shocks, and shipping i'm sure is killer too.

People have kinda grown away from RC as online racing took off i feel.

My first hobby grade RC car
I've had it for almost 15 years now and it's still going strong. My dad put on a huge front bumper after I drove it straight into a light pole and fucked the suspension and steering servo. He also put in a beefier brushed motor and slapped some slightly more road friendly tyres on it. I haven't used it in quite a while because I just don't have the time and I've moved house a few times and there aren't really many places I can drive it about

My dad also has a 1/18th trophy truck, a Tamiya Twin Detonator, A Tamiya road car with a WRC Ford Focus body, a 1/8th Kyosho nitro car which we didn't get that much use out of, and I have a Mini E-Revo
