I bought this 2016 Jetta TSI 1.8 Sport last year got into messing around with it, but want to know what I could do to make it better and more fit for /o/ stuff.

Wondering if I should just buy an older car to work on to make into a car fit for racing around in with my savings, or if there is anything I can do to my DD to make fit for that.

I don't know where to start or what to start with. I am pretty new to the aspect of modding.

Get the ecu tuned. turbo volkswagens are seriously undertuned from factory.

get springs or coilovers.

start with those 2. will completely transform your car for the better. It will be like waking up its potential.

Go to a reputable ecu tuner. They give warranties and are very thorough not to cause damage.
