In the us, actually kinda yeah. GM J bodies are quite dependable and usually cheaper than your average carolla/civic. I've owned 3 thus far and they're the cars i sold rather than broke.

Seems like they're pretty much all gone now, these used to fill the classifieds. The same with those early 2000s Malibus and Impalas too. Only the nip cars remain.
