Alright audi/o/ fags
I have to build a sub box tomorrow, and from what I've read, the shape of a sealed sub box has near no effect on the sub, as long as it's volume is correct.
In this case, I wish to build a slanted sub box, with the magnet almost touching the back of the box. Isn't this going to cause the cone to essentially fire with more pressure at the top, thus having a minutely different firing angle?
I can answer a lot of audio questions if you have any.
Might have to factor in vibration
Almost touching like 1/16 of an inch away or 3/4 of an inch away?

Yeah I heard its good practise to keep a inch of space between the back of the driver and the box. Otherwise it could impact

as in 15/16 inch. Basically touching.

Shan't be an issue. 32mm MDF was cheaper than 20mm MDF. The box will not flex.

What could impact? I know ported subs get dead spaces, but a sealed sub?

Not because it would impact, it's to keep the pole vent from being blocked.
Since the box is slanted it should be fine.
It doesn't matter if it's slanted at all, it's not going to effect the sound.

15/16ths is damn near an inch and with 3/4 ply or MDF you will be fine.
