I guess I shouldn't say they fucked it up, more like they gave up. The Evo X (the last one) was released in 2005 and was the heaviest Evo by far. They left Rally behind in 2006 but continued to build the Evo until 2016 with virtually no improvements. Up until the Evo X they came out with a new generation every year or two.
