Does it smell as good as Black Ice?
That shit is the worst... luckily it only happens once or twice at the start & end of winter
Its even more shit when you work in ski lifts and you cant start any chair lifts before you've knocked every single chair & its clamps clean of ice, and every single t-bar/button lift needs their shit knocked as every single bar is iced down and dragged to the ground
But it's so satisfying to pull a huge piece off. I don't know why.

in what general area do you work liftops? me too. just did this the other day. even better is trying to grease the grips on our ancient fixed double, had to have a monkey pull each chair forward so i could smash the ice off the hole and fit the nipple. only 76 chairs but still, holy shit
THIS ICE THICC AF BOO

Norway, biggest resort called Trysil
I mainly just run lifts, but I'll do anything the bosses want me to, so that does include service, fixing, mounting/dismounting at the end/start of seasons and so on
Fill a spray bottle with 1/3 water and the rest isopropyl alcohol. Spray on w/s, thank me later.
