I was driving to a job interview actually , was meeting them across town . We have roads here (California) where the right turn lane has an extra lane of space between it and forward traffic. I was in the rightmost forward lane slowing down for a red light. It's rainy here so roads are pretty slick.

He gets about equal with me and decided to merge into my lane, got within inches of me to cut me off forcing me to turn away. The moment i turned the wheel front tires lost traction and even carefully pumping breaks broke the back 2 tires free. (At this point im like halfway over a lane, now with 2 cars in front of me, reducing space to slow down by like 30 feet)(car I hit is suv bro and took such minor damage pic related.)

Fifteen y/o girl on her phone runs a red light and smashed into I turning left. Her faggot father comes up to me like "there's no way my daughter ran a red light. I work for the city and I'm going to pull the traffic tapes to prove it". Meanwhile my gfs in a fucking neck brace in an ambulance. Worse kick in the nuts was because her daddy was a fucking priest, and a firefighter, she got a 73$ fine for ignoring a traffic control device. Lo and behold, however, the police report made the mistake of including their address on it and they live on the same street as me. Now he has to replace his daughter's car, and his windshield.

I've posted the story here before but I'll do it again. Guy made a left turn across my lane into a shopping center, didn't yield. I swerved to avoid t-boning him and went off the road. I was going about 60mph and the car spun when it went onto the dirt. The front wheel went into a ditch and the car rolled.
I was with 3 other people and we were all okay, the worst injury was a scratched arm because all the windows were down and his arm hit the ground.

Had my e39 528i for about 3 months, was out for lunch one day and on the way back someone came flying up behind me going at least 15 over my speed. I sped up to avoid having them crash into me but my exit was already coming up. Went into exit too fast and rear wheels completely broke traction, went over the median and smashed a gaurd rail head.

That happens with teen drivers who miss the ramp. They reverse on the freeway shoulder back to the offramp. In your case, the bus was using the offramp while that jerk was illegally backing up onto the ramp. Thus forcing the bus back into your lane.

On the freeway, most bad things are done by the usual variety of drivers. But if it is stupid things like backing up on the shoulder for an offramp, it will be teenagers most of the time.

The parts network will ship parts all over the country as needed to body shops wanting them. It's only a matter of time especially if your area has no "pick and pull" junkyards like mine. These places no longer stock cars but merely strip parts off them to go into various large buildings. Then the remainder is crushed and sent off to be recycled as scrap metal.

So in my area, there's very little hope of getting that interior trim piece to replace a broken one. Those items aren't stripped off. They mostly take off body panels and the typical parts that body shops want when doing collision repairs.
