The first thing to decide is how badly you want this. The hobby car you get will HAVE to be your second car. Keep your econobox as a daily drive and have the fun car for weekends. budget is around 50k. I love jap and german shit. Recently I've been considering getting a clean 90's NSX, but I think I'd rather just get something that I wouldn't feel guilty about if I want to trash it around and put a bunch of tasteless mawds on it, like a BRZ or something

I went out to good spots around midnight on weekends and met people, hooned together . Tried normal car meets in parking lots etc, all loser hard parkers. Even the guys out in the mountains at 1am Sunday morning are scum bags ripping on a car they stole from a hard parker six hours earlier...

If I were to buy an import they would be the first I check not just because of location, but there the only reputable importer ive heard about on the east coast that isn't in fucking Florida or Georgia

Brz is a fantastic choice. Rear wheel drive and highly upgradeable engine for a pretty solid price. Slap a turbo in it and you have yourself a solid tuner car
