>>16539114

>>16539141
>crusty crap
Wrong, enjoy your windshield smelling like Summer's Eve
>>16539127
>>16539136
>>16539141
>not using 100% refrigerant
I'm so glad my car doesn't have this light anymore
Shit annoyed the hell out of me in my Jetta.
>>16539114
Empty
>>16539156
I let it drop to a very specific level, so it only turns on in tight turns.
>>16539156
>unplug the sensor
???
>>16539165
wouldn't the light stay on forever then?
>>16539155
>not using windex + vinegar
>>16539149
>not liking the fresh smell of white vinegar
are you all gay?
>>16539165
It's too late now nigger my Jetta died a painful death
>rip trixie
>>16539114
when the light comes on i fill it up. Canadian winter mang. It's a necessity
>>16539170
Nope. Had a sensor break in my old '02 civic so the light was on even when the fluid was full. Unplugged it and it never came back on
>>16539171
>fresh smell of vinegar
No such thing and it's fucking disgusting, I bet you eat your fries with malt vinegar you barbarian
>>16539114
No idea I only check when I use it and nothing happens.

i dont even use my wipers or clean my windshield for that matter. The water just ripples off at high speeds.
I work at a dealership, top it off when I look under the hood and wash it once a week.
>>16539227
halp my ass
>>16539127

>>16540203
>Fuck you Achmed
???
>>16539161
Same
>it's winter here
Why did I let this happen
probably about like 75% full. I just put some in last month.
>mfw walk outside today and car is covered in dirt from wind and rain
>>16539114
i removed it
>>16539114
Wiper fluid is like $2 for a gallon. Why wouldnt it be full?
>all these fags with dry and scratched windshields ITT
>>16540337
It's never full when you're in Canada. I go through more washer fluid than gas most days.
>>16540501
>tfw you have to give it a squirt literally every 30 seconds to see where the fuck you're going on a slushy day
fucking canada
>>16539114
This full
>>16540210
I realised we were talking washer fluid, not coolant.... my bad
Its full - 50% premixed thats guaranteed down to -21c, and 50% ethylene glycol
>>16540543
I feel stupid for asking, but what does the ethylene glycol do?
>>16539114
Empty, but my sensor is broken so it doesn't bug me about it.
>>16539114
Not full enough, thanks for reminding me OP.
>>16539114
>my DD civic
the light isnt on and it still squirts
>my truck
been empty for months. the bottle leaks from the line and my tires rub the bottle so I really should relocate it and epoxy that shit up.
>>16540552
Fuck mines the exact opposite. It will be completely full but the light is still on
>>16540543
>Only -21˚C
>Not -55˚C

>>16540627
Faggot have you got a nuclear fucking power plant inside your engine bay?
>>16539114
I uninstalled mine to make room for an MSD ignition
>>16539114
Doesn't matter, the sprayers have been frozen over for the last 2 months.
>>16539114
You mean the screen wash reservoir?
I think it's about half full. I nearly emptied it, then dumped the remains of the previous bottle in, and I've been using it since.
The Prestone stuff is pretty good, leaves a nice clear finish. I should probably figure out how to clean the inside as well.
>>16539114
About half full, I use it a lot. That green Rain-X stuff is great.
100% empty because I can't be arsed to take off my bumper to fix it (think I used it when the nozzles were covered in ice at some point and that some hose came lose from the pressure). I just wash it by hand when it gets too dirty.
I don't know. I topped it off with antifreeze at the beginning of winter. Had this horrid drive last winter where I depleted it because even the antifreeze mix kept turning into white slush on my windshield and I had to keep respraying and wiping.
>>16541204
you too?
i'm so tired of winter.
t. leaf
>>16539114
Pretty much full, refilled it just 2 days ago.
>>16540543
-21c is pretty hot tho. Does water even freeze at that temp? Canada here
>>16541204
>>16541818
>not getting winter fluid
>>16541864
>he doesn't live where it's cold
You could have pure alcohol in there but it won't stop the little nozzles from freezing over.
>>16539178
You kids stay of of my lawn!
>>16541863
I'm sorry, did the leaf speak?
>>16539114
100% Full of Mr. Clean and dish soap. Rollin' down the highway blowin' bubbles.
>>16542090
Goddamn that's about 75° C colder than it usually is in Texas
>>16542090
>mfw 2ºC here is absolutely unbearable
>>16539178
Can i have your transmission?
>>16542984
not with a diesel fire in your home!
Or for that matter, driving a diesel powered econobox!
>refilling your water tank
>not using the old hose and funnel method to collect rainwater to directly replenish your reserves
It's like you guys WANT TO KILL THE PLANET
4/5 litres. 100% bars bugs window cleaner.
>>16539114
Filled it up a week ago so probably 75% full.
Crown Vics sprayers shoot so hard, I fill my washer fluid about once a month in winter.
Sense my washer motor is out, spray bottle of mostly alcohol and a lil water
I run homemade 100 proof ethanol mixed with ~3% propylene glycol and minimum detergents with Würth or Bosch heavy duty winter wiper blades. No smell, eco friendly, absolutely edible and doesnt turn slushy at negative 35-40°.
>>16547526
Propylene glycol is not edible and certainly not at 3%. also it's not 200 proof ethanol if you have PG in it
>>16547536
100 proof alcohol means 50%, and propylene glycol is used throughout the food industry.
>>16547542
I would just use polyethylene glycol in isopropyl alcohol. Sure it's volatile as fuck but so is ethanol and it will stay liquid all the way down to - 89c
>>16547563
i have no means of producing this and acquiring it would be non cost efficient. Doesnt get colder than -44° here.
>>16542984
not surprising with a fiat diesel.
>>16547570
It's Rubbing alcohol dude and polyethylene glycol is basically the surfactant in soap
>>16547579
i acquire large quantities of propylene glycol and 90% ethanol for my business. Making eco friendly winter washer fluid is just a side hustle.
