Why do many of you bash on Kia and Hyundai over Japanese? Korea is passing Japan as a major electronic creator, and cars are becoming more and more electronics

My roommate has a base model soul. I assume it's the 130 hp version. Seems like a fine car. A little more power wouldn't hurt it. Seems like a sensible DD as long as kia does the econobox dct better than Ford did. If you're cross shopping it with a Fiesta ST, GTI, etc. then you're doing it wrong.
