How long till she blows lads

About an hour if dinner goes well. Less if she doesn't mind giving road head.
It will be fine. Just drive as fast as possible. The outward force the tire experiences while rotating will flatten the bulge.

I drove on a tire with a bigger bulge than that for about a month. Rim was bent and cracked too, so it had a slow leak. Never had an issue while I was driving around on it, probably put a few thousand miles on it before it got replaced, it was on a company car that went ~250 miles/day. Only reason it was on there so long was because the one authorized company shop was 3.5 hours away one way.

That tire has another bulge besides that obvious sidewall one. So it looks like quite a problem going on.
just put tape over it, its really not that bad.
It's a tire zit. Pop it.

Brand new tire too REEEEE

the thing with sidewall damage is that you never know. air could get between the plies and open up the tire tomorrow, or it could stay like that for 6 months.
the real question is if you are going to risk it. If it was me, I would replace it as soon as possible.

How does this even happen?
I've had countless tires and this has never happened to me once.

A ply breaks inside the tire. Can be from road damage, can be a defect with the tire. I found one one a Pilot Super Sport on a PDI car a few weeks ago (car had 3 miles on it).

ran my set of pss bald and never had an issue. hope the manufacturer ate the cost.

I see some rim rash right by it, Probably bumped a curb and tore an inner ply.
That said, sometimes it just happens.
