My brake pads and rotors were changed about 3 and a half years ago and I've only put 20k miles on my car since then so I don't think they are the problem.
The scraping sound isnt very loud but it's noticeable. Did I pick up a rock or what?
yea you picked up some road debris or a rock
get a hammer and smack your brake rotor and caliper really hard and it should fall right out

ok ill try that

How many miles you put on the car has nothing to do with brake wear.

Said.
Get the car on a lift and check the dust shields.
Inspect the calipers and rotors. Chances are you probably have glazed rotors. Which will cause squealing. Even if you have put only 20K miles on your brakes since replacement it still happens. Also it depends what kind of replacement brakes you got. Alot can play a factor.

Has your car been standing still and not used for a long time? Because if so there's rust on the disks and you can just scrape it off by normal braking, but it takes a little while.

Maybe you have a caliper hanging up or a spring busted on your e-brake.
Seized caliper perhaps

For future reference give people more information when asking questions. When does it scrape
